aladdin sane : I'm sure it will. Did you work for covenant, or just a nother drive mill co. Mistakes, I've made a few. Sometimes it took a little longer to get it right. Yeap, hopefully! I'll be able to find that financial plan, When I run out of TP. I just might need it. No really Financial There is no plan. That plan fell apart back in june when I lost my job. Its a day by day around here. Unemployment last about that long. Every thang I got is bought a paid for and falling apart. So if I make enough money to buy duck tape. To hold it all to gather until I win the lotto! Got any idea how much a covenant trainee makes in a week. I hope its about as much as unemployment? Any numbers. Thanks for replying.

I'm not sure how much they make. Put if you have nothing tying you down, spend what ever you make wisely.. You can save more, that way.. I know what it is like to spend way to much. Heck I use to spend almost $100 just in a couple of day. They wife was pissed, but that is part of what you will learn on the road..

My last job, I did all right on the money end. Everythang got paid with alot lefted to go around. Thats all gone. But the kids and my lady wants to live like we still have that kind of money. Me, as long as the bills get paid, food on the table. I'll live. Until I get threw all this training. Thanks

After your stint at Convenant, that could be a real possibility.

That is something their going to have to learn to live without.. You can't continue to spend and live the life you had, when your just starting out as a OTR driver.. The wife and I had all kinds of money at one time, plus a house. That was until I was laid off.. Now 4 yrs later, I make as much as I did back in 1989.. We live in an apartment, and have to live by our means.. Some day we might make better money, but until then, as long as I have a roof over our heads, 3 squares a day, I'm happy..
