This started its life as a cabover, there is a company in netherland specialized into conversion to conventional using original spare parts or using donor parts from old conventional scania trucks. Manual is not possible, 6 inch engine tunnel remains after conversion.

From this angle it does not looks good this lightbox above windshield dont really fit good, but otherwise they do look nice.

    Deafult look:

That is the last Scania hood model made.(ended around 03 iirc)
BUT as that model was actually a COE cab with the cab moved backwards (as was the previous model) a Dutch bodyshop set to work buying old hoods, steering boxes and importing longer wheelbase trucks from Scandanavia.
Conversion starts around 35 000$ and up.
Biggest buyers and in the UK and Ireland.

    Vlastuin is the bodybuilder.
I would post a link but he's updateding his website

there were T series, officially they were made just one year, but in reality production started in very late 2004 and last was ordered in 2005 and made and sold later, it is 2007 T500 daycab and it is in australia. in total 401 were made. spare parts are available, i guess it is nightmare to do homologation.

I would guess they have to de couple the trailers and slide the axles forward on the first trailer.

Cat sdp, 98989 and daf105paccar Thank this.

In the first picture you can see the lines are installed as for a slider.
You can even see the blocking holes for the slider.

Cat sdp and 98989 Thank this.

If you're unloading over a Hopper you can tip Through the frame whilst still hooked Up. If you need to tip into an Auger/elavotor Or tip in a heap on the Ground you unhook & slide the Triaxle Forward.

Though this style is gaining popularity...
