    Hello everyone,

About too start with estes out of Buffalo NY. I was curious how the extra board is. I'm coming on as a regional otr driver. Also how the pay is. They said first year is a guarantee of $85k and they said I should make more then that after.

Also is it five days out and then two full days home. I thought that's what the manager said I'm just not sure. I'm really anxious and excited at the same time. I'm trying to better my families life.

Depending on what schedule they have you could leave out Wednesday night and get home Monday morning. Estes is a great job. Just take your time and you'll be fine.

    Buffalonytrucker92 Thanks this.

I don't work there but know a guy who runs linehaul. That's the schedule he started out with. It's a good job and a great place to hang your hat.

@KaoMinerva works for Estes in another state and has the information. I think he's up to $100K or more now.

MACK E-6 and Buffalonytrucker92 Thank this.

My big stresser is I know I'm going too need a gps but I don't have the money too do it at the moment. Also I've never connected or driven doubles are they just gonna throw me out there. I have experience but haven't driven a truck in awhile

Estes isn't the type of company that will just throw you out there. You'll get plenty of training before you hit the road solo.

It isn’t that hard to bang pups together once you see it done a time or two.

You also have us to come to for info. :)
