I prefer carrying enough old tarp to essentially cover the load twice, roll ratty tarp out, then pop on your real tarp, then in a move that is slightly counterintuitive, when bungeeing, dont haul the complete everliving snot out of the tarp, the goal is good and snug, but not bowstring tight, that allows the tarp to slip over sharp edges without allowing it to slice.

Think of taking a sharp knife and take a peice of fabric and lay it on a clothesline, now slash at it, it might make a hole but it wont make a long cut, then take the same fabric, and draw it tight on all corners, slash at it and you will have a long gash the whole length of your slash

Ok im about to be back on here.

    Hope everyones going well.

Our 379 will start pulling loads this week over at Diamond. With my friend and buissness partner in it. In usual fashion another hickup on that. We ended up using a Texas Title to get the Wisconsin registration, to get the Nevada Title. We finally got the Wisconsin plates today as it was sitting up in Racine getting ramps added. So itll hit the road in the next day or so. And we will have plenty to show from that.

Meanwhile someone over there decided that they wanted to make shure I left my previous employer. Que recruiters from roughly a dozen companies later, all mostly specialized. Hitting me up and picking my brain. Now im in orientation. At a place, thats hauls stuff. Someone will figure it out im shure. Still got a few more days to go before the madness begins. But they were pleased with what I could do. And I am officially green lighted so. Yeah next week is going to get interesting.

Whilest I have no bad words to say about my former employer. These guys have already repeatedly impressed me on an extreme level.

But then again, this is something entirely different soooo....... Yeah you wont need clues, itll make sense shortly.

Casper, Wyoming... forecast called for some light precipitation... forgot the name of the two machines under the black tarp but it they had sharp corners and pieces sticking out everywhere. Three wool tarp protectors and the ugliest tarp job I’ve done yet. I was embarrassed but the goal was to arrive with dry freight and no holes in the tarp and we succeeded. Under the red tarp is some electrical equip sitting in a stock tank lol. I’m mostly unstrapped / and most bungees removed waiting for them to let me in.
Also the reason for heated LED headlights... my brights are not heated and my lows are.
