Fake news. I am all those things but still can't vote, because my "residential" address is zoned commercial.

Yeah, South Dakota is the easiest.
When I moved to Nevada from Tennessee, had to prove I live here. Just required and eye test at the DMV to change my license to Nevada.
Wish that driver would post on your thread that changed his license to South Dakota not too long ago.
He said something like he had to stay in a motel for one night and show that receipt to the DMV.
    Anyway, a real simple process.

It's good to have a home base. Things can turn on a dime in trucking, so you definitely want a place to call home, especially just starting out.

I understand what you're saying. I pay $170 to watch TV for maybe a week, and there's nothing on except TCM & AHC.

    i know...huh..??

as long as it was/is professionally restored to factory specs, any factory original color will suit me fine too.

too many "hot rods" or resto mods out there in my opinion....

I'm experimenting with nomad lifestyle now. Doing it permanently will make it hard to renew your drivers license as you wont have the documents to establush a legal residence for DMV purposes. You will need to take steps to maintain a legal residence. Since Real ID many or some states have made required proof more strict.

That was me. Stayed at the motel 6 the night before and had them put Dakota posts address on the receipt. Got up in the morning and after breakfast went and set up my mailbox at Dakota post then went to the dmv. I was newly minted resident of South Dakota before lunchtime. If you get set up online before hand with Dakota post you could be rolling out of town by 10 am if you wanted.
