Maverick and Wylie have trucks going up to the Portland area of Maine just about every day from places like NC, PA or NY delivering glass. Maverick allows you to bring your wife, not sure about Wylie.

I drive OTR and probably go up there 3-4 times a year and also spend even more time going to texas and florida, minnesota and Michigan etc.

    Maine has people.
    People will have Walmart.
    People need food.

Couldn't be that hard. I've actually always watched for loads to Maine and seen quite a few. If I could do well enough going in I'd go for the experience. Deadhead back to MA/PA/NJ to get headed back to South or West.

Congrats on finding your family. Parts of Maine are really beautiful, and the people are great.

Regarding Schneider, they do have a rider policy; I believe it’s restricted to immediate relations and adults, or something similar. Pets are not allowed. Solo company trucks are governed at 65 mph, up from the 60-63 they were known for.

HO Wolding used to do a lot of business with Poland Springs, and I assume they still do. I have no idea what they’re like to work for, or what specific policies they have. Wolding seems to be governed in the mid-60s, as well.

    Good luck.

I missed that in the post.
    Congrats on meeting the family.

I’ve always been afraid to do the 23&me with my real name .

figured several women would show up wanting child support payments . . .
    Just kidding.

good luck on the job search.

Be very careful with all of this stuff. I can understand your desire to Connect/Reconnect with Family. Be aware......there are scam artists online EVERYWHERE. PLEASE.......BE CAREFUL!
