Me neither and i DO have that kinda 14 year old boy mind

That said, he seems a little less than enthusiastic about it, more interested in just being an exhibitionist if you ask me

Fifteen years oilfield. No stranger to being gone weeks and months at a time. Doesn't mean I like it.

Plan was to stop being gone before the kids got old enough to remember. They're 11 and 12 now. That ship sailed a long time ago.

It was my kids that I wanted to be with. It wasn't all bad with the ex, but coming in at 2:30 am, there was little, if any chance of any action. And she wondered why I had an affair,,

It wasn’t much better for me as a local driver. The constant phone calls and texts... “what time are you going to be done today?” “Are you going to be done in time to pick up the kids?” “How late are you going to be today?” And on and on. Worse than any impatient dispatcher I ever knew.

At some point around the time my my marriage went south, it changed to a daily one word text at about 13:00... “time?”

Needless to say, we are now happily divorced.

My greatest regret, is the time lost with my kids. Would always think, once we get this done, there will be time.... never happens. End up just chasing and chasing.

Now they're gone, no more chances of taking the time with them tomorrow.

When older folks tell you money and houses and cars are meaningless... listen.

I am retired USAF. Spent over 20 years in shiftwork. The children are grown and out of the house. Reefer pulling and being away from home suits me fine. For my wife and I, it's mostly just a continuation from what I used to do. I love my job, I love this country, I love the families who worry about their people in far flung #### holes that maybe that we shouldn't be involved with. Peace my friends.
