Hard to tell from the picture but it almost looks like one of the condenser tubes is leaking and running down on to the pipe and the dripping off?
The leak will originate at the highest point and run down.
Take some brake cleaner and clean it of with the ac running then you should easily be able to see where the leak is actually coming from.Rideandrepair Thanks this. -

That connection uses a metal washer combi rubber center seal washer. It may be a simple as the tech didnt replace the washers with new. Sucks you have to go back. Check the top connection too.

When it comes to air conditioning issues, go to an automotive a/c shop. They work on those systems all day long and know their stuff. Car and heavy truck a/c systems are virtually identical.

I’d reserve judgment on the Shop. I recently disturbed my a/c lines. Had a leak at the compressor line. Thought I had it fixed a couple times, only to have the same leak show up twice. Finally got it good and tight. Can be frustrating.

I love the jobs when something comes in for a repair and you have to touch something that is related to completing the job that is functioning but hanging on by a thread.
You put a wrench on it and it literally crumbles in your hands and when you call the customer you get the famous “ there was nothing wrong with it when I put it in the shop”Smellfunny, Rideandrepair, Dale thompson and 2 others Thank this. -
I know #### happens, bolts seize, etc but I don't think it's unreasonable to not want your truck to come out worse than it went in or to get extra expensive repairs done.
What an easily abused phrase that can cover everything from carelessness to incompetence, or in the worst cases just fraud.
Edit: Thinking about it a little more I can see it from your perspective as well and it was a good reminder to not get angry when #### does happen.Last edited: Apr 11, 2021

If you ever had to work any rusted, salt corroded piece of equipment from the north east salt/rust belt you would understand what I am talking about.
There are certain jobs that could be done on southern equipment that might take a couple of hours?
The same exact job on the same brand of equipment in the north east could take a day and half after using torches, drills and then also fabricating parts that can’t be bought.spsauerland, Rideandrepair, Dale thompson and 2 others Thank this. -
