Hey guys,
Im selling a 2015 Peterbilt with a 13 spd eaton fuller automatic transmission, the person that came to see the truck claimed that you have to get these transmissions adjusted since it has over 808,220km on it. Is it even possible to adjust an automatic truck? From what Ive heard all automatic transmissions have automatic clutch adjustments built in. He also claimed to have done it on his current truck and offered to send his mechanic to do it before his purchase? Super confusing but any clarification on it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Adjusting auto transmissions?

Tell him he can do whatever he wants after he buys it. You could even offer to pay the mechanic if it will help the sale. But after the sale is final with cash in hand. If his guy screwed something up and he backed out of the deal you would be up that old creek.

Some trucks have Solo clutches. They are auto adjust but have a a slide tab adjustment deal on them. You can find them on You Tube.
Failure after messing with that is common.slow.rider Thanks this. -

Some of the Autoshifts, 2 peddle setup's, have a clutch brake that can be adjusted, but I would think Pete wouldn't have that setup

I wouldn't let his guy touch it.
