No Chance To Avoid Wrong Way Pickup

Looks like the truck driver did all he could do to avoid the collision.

Hopefully, the DUI suspected driver is made to endure to fullest penalty allowed by Vermont motor law.

Absolutely no excuse to be drinking and driving.

 

Seeing it was on a curve, I suspect distracted driving. We have mostly 2 lanes in this happy state, and I see people drifting over the line all the time.

 

I didn't see a seatbelt on the driver. Lucky for him it seemed like a low speed collision based on how short the stopping distance was.

 

Probably one of the 14,311,922 forty mile per hour curves in Vermont.

 

Probably not the first time the pickup driver has been caught for DUI. Tho it may have been medications, not so much liquor
