Lines or not you can’t just go around tearing up peoples stuff

Even if out of the lines would it be possible that since it is not posted no parking outside the lines that this could be ok?
No idea on that but after 5pm we see it all the time

Beats me; I’d rather just continue on and find a legal spot and not take the risk. I’ve seen people parked in lined end spots still get their front end dmgd by turning trucks.

Usually because the trucks parked on the curb illegally make it almost impossible for the dumb drivers to get through the small hole. After seeing this happen to other trucks a couple times while with my trainer years ago I decided that I would never park in one of the end spots unless there was a curb on the other side.

I was always told that if there is no parking and you make a spot then you take the risk of getting hit. Company will put it down as a preventable cause you could of prevented it from happening by being in a spot, or something along those lines.

Just didn't know if the law would mark you down as at fault as well. Went to bed after the cops showed up and the Pete and Volvo were gone, when I woke.

Still the other driver should of checked his mirrors. Also I don't know if you could see it in the picture but there is a black smug line from where his mirror started to scrape, a good 10 feet away from the back. So either he was flying through that tight spot or started to hit him and just kept on going till that air horn started blazing.

I don’t think think it’s the law that marks you at fault (in a non-public area). It’s the insurance. Insurance is always looking to mitigate payouts and threatening to litigate over something simple makes both sides compromise.

My client hit your client but your client shouldn’t have parked there. The “should of” now applies to both parties.

My sister was involved in a parked hit and I’ll have to double check the details but I’m pretty sure both sides were deemed partially at fault; it wasn’t a fifty fifty split tho.

Two Canadian drivers (On) showing off their driving skills. Flatbed tried to get turned around and ditched it.
Then a tow truck arrives and ditches it.

I used to run the Ohio turnpike quite a bit. One night we had severe weather coming . There were trucks piled here there and everywhere in the last rest stop before the weather.

I got out and walked around just to look at all the trucks.

There literally was not a spot to fit one more truck between the exit and the entrance, and those rest areas are huge.

It was pretty impressive to see the cooperation between drivers making room for each other.

Next morning went pretty smooth as the trucks on the exit had to get moving to start the flow and the lot soon drained like a broken dam.

Been that way at a Pilot in Wisconsin during bad snow storms coming in also.

1)Don’t park in stupid places stupid.
2)if you hit a parked truck unintentionally you’re even more of a Jack wagon then the guy blocking the lot

I have made a spot before but I always made sure there was plenty of room to avoid my truck and I didn’t add any inconvenience to other drivers or it was minimal.

sometimes it happens you have to make a spot, but if it’s a regular thing you’re doing something wrong.
