What kind of transmissions does Holland use, are they an all automatic fleet or are manual transmissions available?

99.9% auto shifts. Maybe one or two 10 speeds were available when I worked there.

    JForce28 Thanks this.

Jeff (or others who currently driver for Holland), I have a few questions if you guys don't mind:

    1. Jeff you said that $0.48-$0.51 CPM starting out was about right. Is that for new drivers or experienced drivers (I have 2 years OTR reefer and dry van experience, all with the same company)?

    2. Also, do they have inverters (I see they have APU's it doesn't mention inverters though)?

    3. Where do you guys fuel at and is it forced fuel stops or just fuel wherever?

    4. What's the home time policy?

    5. Is NYC in ANY of the 5 boroughs forced dispatch?

    6. Are you guys usually taking a 34 reset every week or two if you're getting 3k miles per week? Or is it FORCED recaps until you go home?

    7. Where's the terminals - Only in Mapleton ND? Any drop lots or terminals in the NC area?

    8. How tight are your runs and how many times per week are you having to start your day as soon as your 10 hour clock is up? Are the runs so tight that you have to start exactly after a 10 hour break each and every day?

    9. Do they have EZ pass and are toll roads paid for?

Their pay has gone up. Last time I saw a thread on here about them they were starting drivers out at something like $0.40 CPM. $0.48 - $0.51 CPM is great pay if they're giving you 3k miles per week consistently.

Where are some of the more....interesting places Holland delivers to? By "interesting", I mean not very truck friendly, make your bunghole eat some seat cushion, "are trucks even supposed to be here?" places.

Hello jeff18, I enjoy reading your posts about Holland Enterprises. I’m looking very hard at them but I’m out of the country and not able to call recruiting until next week. Do you know if they hire people that have been out of trucking, I’ve been retired for 2 1/2 years and want to come back. Any info about Holland is appreciated!

Sorry to bump a slightly older post in this thread, but I was just wondering...on this load, did you take the ABQ-Moab-SLC route? Or did you go up thru Amarillo-Limon/Denver-Cheyenne route? And did you have the option to take either? Or did they tell you which route to take?
