Has anyone taken US1 from Baltimore to Trenton, NJ? Looks like a decent bypass route for avoiding tolls if you have the extra time to drive. However, I heard there may be a truck restriction at some point. The Rand McNally Motor Carriers Atlas shows it as a truck route. However my Garmin GPS keeps forcing me on the NJ turnpike, I had to drop like 12 pins on US1 to keep it on track (not that I trust it 100% anyway). Figured it doesn’t hurt to ask. Thanks in advance if you take time and reply!

I also have the AllStays truck and travel app and looks like some questionable low clearance areas on US1 there

You would not want to take that route. 1st its illegal to take a 53' trailer over the Conowingo dam in Maryland, I recommendyou goingover the dam at night only. 2nd you will hit a ton of lights coming out of Baltimore and in Pennsylvania from Rt 202 all the way through Philly. I recommend taking 95.

Copy that, thanks for the advice. I’ll definitely stay on 95

Trenton, New Jersey. Rt 1 interchanges at 695 on north side of Baltimore and goes up through Philadelphia and Trenton. Keeps going but I stopped at Trenton

To Trenton go 95. If you go to NYC go thru Lancaster. Either way you go, make sure to charge extra for that route.
