"Plant management said said it’s surprised and disappointed by the strike decision and doesn’t understand why workers aren’t staying on the job while the collective bargaining process continues."

"The decision by the local of the United Auto Workers to strike came after a 30-day contract extension came and went without a new deal"

Plant management must not be very bright. I have no dog in the fight but it seems pretty clear that they had 30 days to deal with this but said meh I got stuff to do.

    Flat Earth Trucker Thanks this.

All unions are over paid crybabies. The amount of work I see them union crybabies do for the pay they get and benefits are never enough. Automobiles and other union made products are so expensive the consumers can’t afford the products now. I mean really I knew a lady at a Chrysler plant in the early 2000’s
She made $24.00 an hour to start the lug nuts on the pickups. Her co workers would ##### and moan if she dared or someone else did something else . That was considered theft of a job from a fellow union worker. Bunch sniveling crybabies
