How many miles on housings. My guess is the spindle is worn out, or ID of hub is worn out. Or possibly seal installed dirty or improper. Multiple possibilities.

Definitely a possibility, also check your breather tube to make sure your housing can breathe.

That will blow seals, but not normally the same one repeatedly. It will blow all of them, or oldest.

Also what kind of seal are you using? There is a difference.

Thats the thing. Million different possibilities. Really need to teardown and have someone who knows whats going on look at it. Seen thousand of times people that don't know how or why to seal a stemco grit guard, then call them junk.

Roger McG and Deere hunter Thank this.

Is it a Conmet type hub with the cone spacer between the bearings ? If so throw it out and set the bearing preload the conventional way. and us a stemco grit guard seal. we have had our best success this way.
