    I see where he got the torch idea. Surely not the way I would've done it, you gotta be real careful where and what you heat. Always ensure brain is engaged before putting hands in gear.

    But, what's done is done, sometimes the location of the tag will reveal what make pumpkin you got, sometimes the numbers are stamped into the housing, but at any rate, there should be some numbers or letters on the seal itself to identify it. Worse case scenario, you'll have to measure it and match it up.

    Unfortunately, today, there's lots of hammer, chisel & torch guys out there that call themselves a mechanic, but only a very few that actually know their stuff. This also applies to the jamoke at the parts counter who can't tell the difference between an injector and a spark plug, nor what they do.
