The shop in omaha isn't too bad, but the operating hours suck. Like 8 to 4 I think.

I figured it out. On the dash controller, the very bottom for vent position is 'everything', floor, dash and defrost. I had it on the 'everything' position because I was hitting snow in IL this morning, which for some reason, turns on the sleeper fan, even when the dash fan is turned off.

To my flatbed brotheren...is this how you would secure slinkies? I thought you wrapped the strap around where 2 coils meet. Guess Mr. Wylie missed slinky securement training day.

But at least he’s not driving a Freightliner. Probably happier than a pig covered in poop.

Probably is, except they're in a gutless auto with a Paccar motor, and at a company that micromages more than Creaffer does on a busy day....but they do have APU's.

Just idle much as need ...ignore the idle time messages....and don't respond to Deland at all.. it doesn't change anything to engage verbally with them...other that to upset you

`We allways put a hard wood 4by 6 stuck in the FT. at a angle and sticking up in the air enough to where driver can get a strap or chain hooking to trailer back far enough to keep load from falling over to ft. if driver had to get on brakes hard in a hard stop? This driver in pic. is riding on slim pickings with not a darn thing to keep load from leaning over in fast stop, and there is no way to stand them back up when they slide over because all the steel straps snap that hold them in a coil looking rods when load leans over?

I actually realized this morning that I am use to seeing slinkies loaded suicide where you can get a strap wrapped around 2 coils. Those are loaded shotgun. Maybe he did do it the way the Wylie training people said....and I am just unjustly picking on him(or her, I did see some fairly manly female drivers over there when I was on their glass fleet)

the one thing he mentioned when this whole deal started was that Lincoln was considering turning the speed back to 62 for high idle drivers until they comply...I couldn't drive here at 62 again.
