Oh255 is a real treat. Catch it off rt7 along the Ohio River and it starts out with a 15% grade with switchbacks Lol. It's a real fun drive

    2. Has fuel water separator on frame now and cat filter on engine. Needs shut off valve or some kind of check valve on feed before filter because once filter is loose it will suck air in and drain hose from filter base to tank and will not start again unless air is sucked/pumped out. Will order primer pump to keep in side box until needed asap.

    3. Smells strongly of fuel. Talked to another member and have determined my fuel pressure is too high and I've got some Jerry rigged second check valve in the return line that is likely causing a restriction. This is likely making an injector o ring leak until it warms up. Fuel pressure was 90-95ish at idle.

Have no pressure in the cooling system to suggest head gasket issue[/QUOTE]

You don't need anything added to fuel lines for a filter change if everything else is good. Don't treat a symptom by adding more connections in the fuel system that will just be more places for problems. Treat the root cause and be done with it without introducing more possible leak points, both pressure and suction.

The head gasket doesn't blow to a coolant circuit, it blows through the fire ring and causes low compression on that hole(s) until it seals up from heat. Not saying that is your issue but something to keep in mind.
