Have had enough of the west coast. Going back to be with family back there. How’s the LTL sector in the area? I’m going to be looking for a delivery driver type position like I have now. A day shift gig. I currently do cryo.
Other than the major LTL’s, foodservice and the big cryo companies (praxair, airgas), anyone know of some good companies in the area? I’ve been combing through the ads on indeed etc. I’m in the union out here so I’m also going to get in touch with the locals in PA.
I’ve got 10 years experience with all of my endorsements. 8 years doing hazmat in fuel and cryo.
Relocating to the York/Lancaster PA area

MACK E-6 and Air Cooled Thank this. -
Venezia has has a couple different options. Dry bulk, asphalt, and I think propane. @Dave1837 I think just started there

Carlisle isn’t too far away either. Seems they are all hiring. ABF advertising 10K sign on bonus first day......with stipulations I assume.
Air Cooled Thanks this. -
I’ve seen an ad for Sheetz. Hauling fuel. Any other tanker work? I’ve done dry bulk, fuel, asphalt, chemical, and cryo. I’m not seeing a lot of tanker companies yet. Still interested in a day shift though

Earl R Martin, Inc.
Don't know if they're hiring but they have some nice equipment. They're over by Lancaster.

These guys are near York, they have a few dry bulk tanks, among other types of work. Probably pretty easy to get daylight work. As of a month ago they were looking for dry bulk drivers. And they run some sweet W900's
I'm sure more will come to mind.Air Cooled Thanks this. -
I've been with Venezia for about a month and a half now. I really like it. Their main terminal is in Limerick (Royersford) and they have plenty of work. They'll also honor your previous experience and start you on a higher pay scale, plus a 3k sign on bonus
Asphalt, tar, oil, propane, dry bulk, flatbed...they have plenty of opportunitiesAir Cooled Thanks this. -
How’s ltl work in that area? Consistent year round? @MACK E-6
