We noticed a small melt in the panel of the truck in the passenger side. That hole has now gotten huge!! Any ideas where this is coming from?? We though it was from this exhaust pipe and swapped it out but didn’t help. Panel kept melting.

Being pre-dpf, look for soot stains or feel for air escaping when exhaust is cool. Starting a regen would help pinpoint the leak fastest. You use new gaskets and clamps on the DOC inlet elbow?

Isn’t that where the dpf is located ? I had a 2015 it was constantly leaking from dpf somewhere for two years . They never found nothing but problems went away when they changed it on warranty after getting head office involved and having proof with a carbon monoxide detector. I suspect when yours is doing a burn it’s leaking badly and heat is burning plastic.

This is why new emission trucks catch fire and burn to the ground. The real reason why they don’t want you to idle.

That's where the DOC is located. DPF might be restricted, causing a heat build up. I wonder if it's possible that your doser is running too hot?
