I appreciate the replies guys, I ended up going ahead with the hiring process with Schneider for their Walmart dedicated account just to get started. I don't have experience and it's been roughly four months since I've been behind the wheel, which was at CDL school.
I talked to a couple guys that work or have worked at Schneider in the past and they seem to be of a similar mindset that a Walmart dedicated account might be a great spot for someone new to learn because of the huge areas to maneuver.
I did also apply to Averitt and a company down the road, Tidewater Transit. I was going to apply to YRC but they said they'd want me to work on a loading dock, which I'm not really interested in doing right now. So, if none of them reply to me by the middle of next week, I'll definitely be going with the great pumpkin.
