I was with a Trainer and I wasn't feeling well, I wasn't sure if it was Covid or not. This company is telling me via text that they're gonna say I I abandoned a federal freight and it will hurt my CDL, IS this true? Can they do that? And how can I fight this?

Abandonment charge is never good. Federal load isn't relevant in this context.
What dispatch is likely hearing is "I don't want to work today, so let's blame it on the boogieman of the day" and are giving push back. If you truly aren't feeling up to working, go to a urgent care clinic to get a paper trail. That way if they do fire you and charge you for abandonment you have "proof" you were sick.

If you are so sickl you are unable to safely operate a truck, You should not be driving, doesn't make any difference how many hours you have been off.

You’re a student. They’re just feeding you a line of crap. If anyone gets blamed for a late delivery, it’s the trainer.

    Need more details.
Were you local and went home ?

or on the road and just couldn’t drive ?

get to a Walgreens or cvs clinic or something and document that you’re sick.

There is no way a company is going to fire you or write negative things in your file or DAC for you notifying your trainer and the dispatcher or safety department in writing “I don’t feel well , I’m dizzy and nauseous and can’t drive right now “

The company has no say over your CDL. They can't take it away for any reason. Only the government can and it's not the feds that issue it, states do.

Tell your company that you aren't feeling well. Go to urgent care and get paperwork. They hear this excuse all the time and never want to believe it. Get documentation and send it to them. If they fire you, especailly if it's Covid you will have a lawsuit.

If you want to get them over a barrel, tell them you are going to report them to whatever state you are in, health department for violating Covid rules and see if they dont change their attitude.

If it is your dispatcher telling you this then I would be calling the h.r./ safety department and inform them of what is going on. Keep the text messages and go get checked out at the dr. if you're sick. If you contact the h.r./ safety department go ahead and tell them you want a new dispatcher if he is the one pressuring you to drive.
