I have a K-40 slip seat box with the PnP panel. It provides two options to power my Cobra 29 and Pioneer radio. One is a cigarette lighter DC cable and the other are two high current terminals. I have heard through this forum and other discussions that the cigarette lighter option is less preferred. My problem though is I can not seem to locate a cable/adaptor that I can easily plug into the two terminals on my slip seat box and the two terminals on the dash of the Sterling Tractors I drive. I suppose I could just use 8 or 12 gauge wire but am looking for something cleaner.

    Thanks

You could use a piece of co-ax, that might look a little better than two wires. I don't think hooking to the dash terminals is going to give you any better results than the cigarette lighter, they might even be on the same circuit.

You could make a power cable with a couple of lengths of the correct guage wire and a piece of shrink tube to keep them together and make it look a little cleaner.
