    Wrong!
    ~
I did not recommend any driver do that. Please, take a nap and you'll feel better and won't be such a grouchy old man when you wake.

    Eldiablo Thanks this.

I don't take naps because they make me groggy.

And while I am an old man, I am not really that grouchy.
Well, I can be... especially when people talk with a forked tongue.

IDK, when I went to Swift Academy in August 2019, I already had my physical and cdl learner's permit. Although Swift reviewed my physical, I was not required to get another by them.
When I had to renew my Physical, I did go to their clinic in Phoenix, but I think I could have renewed it elsewhere if I wanted to. But, going through their clinic, I didn't have to pay for it where if I had gone elsewhere, it would have directly cost me.
My only dilemma is that I only get a 1 year physical due to taking a blood pressure medicine. I take it for other reasons and have no blood pressure issues, but one of the medicine's side effects is actually why I take it. Doctors refer to it as off label use. Regardless, because of taking the medicine, I only get 1 year physicals. There is a surgery I could get done that would allow me to not need it. But, getting it arranged through insurance and having the time to recuperate afterward (about 2 weeks) has always gotten in the way.

    Moosetek13 and Chinatown Thank this.

Try this before a nap and you won't feel groggy or grouchy when you wake up.

I thought i heard hear that the feds can see all the drugs you are prescribed to you online.
Surprised they dont start cross referencing and revoking CDLs.

That's the thing with skipping the med for a day so you can 'honestly' say you are no longer taking it.
    There is a paper trail.

You could get on the BP meds temporarily. 15 or 20, But loosing 75 to 100 lbs doesn't work out for most people. Most mega companies require you to retake physical, but as mentioned above, alot of smaller companies don't.

It's not an either/or situation. You need to keep your blood pressure under control via meds while you're getting healthier, and then eventually you won't need them anymore and can safely transition off of them.

    bentstrider83 and kemosabi49 Thank this.
