My mom had that , and already had gangrene when they opened her up for surgery.
Docs said she want going to make it but
She pulled through and lived another 10 years with a ostomy bag before liver cancer got her when she was 84.
I had a small perforation, that they wanted to try to take care of with antibiotics and a wound vac. Which worked .
which is why I don’t want to go for the surgery now .
Probabaly should , but I’m not sure about it.

Late reply but if you're still around hit me up. I think I've hit every speed bump on this thing and am happy to help if I can.

My Father had an intestinal blockage, then rupture, emergency surgery, outfitted with the bag, then radiation protocol. Lived over 15 years, renal failure finally took him just a few months short of 92 years.
