Sioux City based trucking company leaves highway and crashes through a house under construction

It's picking nits unless you're from there, but Sioux City is in Iowa. K&B moved to South Sioux City, Nebraska, a long time ago. They are right next to the IBP plant there. Yes, IBP stands for (or stood for) Iowa Beef Processors but was headquartered in Dakota City, Nebraska. Tyson owns them now anyway, and the headquarters for IBP are in Dakota Dunes, South Dakota (almost certainly for tax purposes).

Oh, and North Sioux City is in South Dakota. Reminds me of that old Cheech & Chong bit about the East Westchester North Stars, champions of the Southern Division.

 

It's kibbles and bits. Driver probably fell asleep because that's just how they do things there.

 

If trucking doesn’t work out the driver could get into house remodeling. He already has a head start on knocking down walls!

Every driver who has worked there has said they don't give a #### about safety or sleep. They call you during your 10 and have you do relays

 

Doesent matter what company you work for if they service the meat packing industry you are at the mercy of kill dates , supplies, qc and demands of the recievers.
It was much worse 20 years ago.
Nothing about the packing industry I miss !
