Who in their right mind would invest in a $2000,000 truck ?
    With a Detroit engine.
    I'd went with a Cat,
    More money but worth it.

If sell the truck won't get as much with a Detroit.

Crazy , hope the Loads pay good.
Oh wait maybe he's rich. I have no clue.
never heard of this truck or guy.
but I paid $85,000 for my truck. It's paid for, redone everything except a paint job.
I'm more about it running to make money than looking pretty. But hey ! I'm A female o/o who has been out here for 34 years now. Still loving my job. But I know everyone not the same. glad someone gets to enjoy the money .

I'm not sure if you were following this build. KR teamed up with Pittsburgh Power to build a wet d***m of a "economical" truck. They threw everything at it including the kitchen sink. If your goal is fuel mileage, then you only would go with a Detroit.

He is such a con artist, but he carved out a niche market preaching common sense mostly and selling over priced products. Can’t knock him for that if people buy the crap

Fuel is very important to keep track of, however I just assume bid the work so I can comfortably make a profit instead of having to worry about pinching pennies, I try not to waste it, but if I need to use it like idling for ac then so be it, could care less what this window licker tries to sell

Well, now he is telling guys to not change their oil for 300,000 miles, just use some filter he sells.

Actually he’s telling people to not change oil until the sample indicates that it’s time. It’s just bypass filtration. It’s finally starting to catch on somewhat in the OEM world with Detroit and Paccar offering it on their engines.

Keep in mind that back when this project was built fuel was pretty high priced and you didn’t have stock trucks pushing 8-9+ mpg out of the box. They had some good ideas about the truck but many things just weren’t cost effective in my opinion. Spending a bunch of money to Microblue every bearing on the truck when it was never proven what kind of mileage gain could be had from doing it. Bunch of stuff that cost a lot for a minuscule gain. Then when things started going wrong Rutherford and Pittsburgh Power washed their hands of the situation and walked away. I’d be curious whatever happened to the truck and how the owners handled all the problems.

If memory serves me there was a pretty big lawsuit, the owners got paid off and had to sign Non Disclosure agreements to never tell what, if anything, was ever done to fix the issues. I know Bruce from PP was speaking at an event poor to the lawsuit and didn't have much good to say about the owners.

Actually I think they ended up taking it to another shop to get it fixed. Might even be in this thread somewhere
