That’s not too terrible cost wise. Are you going from driver side or passenger side?

I too drive a Freightliner. I mounted my single antenna to the chrome cross bar behind the sleeper. Run coax down with zip ties and up through the side box on the passenger side. Used an 18ft section with a 6ft extension. Hooked up to my 20yo Galaxy 949 and it works perfect. SWR is right on plus I don’t have antennas hanging from the doors.

    Modlite11 and MidWest_MacDaddy Thank this.

You want the good coaxial like in the photo not that cheap small diameter coaxial and make sure if you put the antenna on the door like I did it don’t get pinched in the door at the hinges or it will tear the coating on the coaxial and short out the radio . If I open the passenger door before I close it I just gently hold the coaxial up little bit away from the hinge and then shut the door

This place is dead without runningman

Another driver and I unloaded this morning our retail fixtures.

my next van load is from Apex NC to Joliet IL, I’ve done this one before. So I’m prepared to wait in Apex to get loaded. And to say goodbye to a load strap in Joliet.

Due for service and I need a flatbed trailer. Hopefully those 2 things will steer the ship.
