My patience has almost worn out. After that issue over the weekend, I had 1 load w/o issues. When they preplanned me on my next load after I picked up the New Albany load, it had a window for pu that ended at 17:30 Monday. So, I didn't hurry getting to New Albany. When I emptied out in New Albany, now all of a sudden, the window changed to a 15:30 end...which I couldn't make. Plus, the load info said washout available on sight, had no temp to precool my current trailer, and said load locks necessary on all loads out of this plant. Being as though I am dropping this empty and picking up a loaded/sealed trailer, that usually means leave load locks in the trailer when you drop. They also had me backtracking for a fuel stop again. On the way up to the shipper, dispatch calls wondering when I'll arrive...I give him a fairly accurate eta. I get to shipper and....no washout has ever been on site (and my trailer was nasty), they wanted my trailer precooled to -10....and said not allowed to leave load locks in the trailer because they couldn't guarantee they'd be returned... essentially, all Lincoln got right was the address of the pu, and the right load number. I told them, if they needed load locks, they may keep them...I don't give a flying fornication. Then, somewhere between the I-69/I-24 split in KY and Indy, my ELD/Peoplenet takes a steaming dump...and it's still not communicating with my ecm as of my arrival at the J in Indy(for a shower and reefer fuel...and to call safety to get auth to use paper until I get this load deliverdd, and at least pu my next load so I can take this pile of #### truck to the shop...AGAIN.)

Update...after I took a shower I decided to try shutting down the main power switch to see if that would reset everything. Well, when I did, it killed the power like it should...except the windshield wipers when on, on high speed...with no power to the cab. Anyone know a good exorsist in the Indy area? I think this truck is possessed..(although it did reset the Peoplenet/ELD)

The wipers will do that. Mine does it too when the power is turned off.

Is your fuel card only open for fuel at your fuel solutions stop? Up until recently my company just said fuel at any loves, pilot/flying j. They just started using fuel solutions but I ignore them and just fuel at a loves of my choosing

I found out that it's a safety feature. If the key is on and you turn off the master switch, it turns on the wipers and blinks some lights (at least that's what the mechanic in the Indy shop said)...which is good because I don't have time to call out a priest to rid my truck of evil spirits.

I think it'll work at any of the company's network (franchise) locations...we just get a slap on the wrist and waterboarded if we don't comply. Deland sends out messages periodically saying that we were less compliant than we are suppose to be, so they work if you go off solution. As a Shaffer, I can fuel my reefer or DEF at any franchise fuel stop (PFJ, TA/Petro or Love's) without it counting against the fuel compliance.

Hrm. I had a similar issue with this truck about 500k miles ago. Have them check to see if all the relay module waterproof covers are properly sealed. Mine did all kinds of weird #### due to a loose cover that was a factory defect.

Used to be that Crete company driver fuel cards would work at any of the big fuel companies (TA/Petro/FJ/Pilot/Loves/Ambest/Sapp) for tractor fuel, and #### near anywhere that would take EFS for reefer fuel.

They tracked compliance but I was never unable to fuel at a major fuel company even if it was off my fuel solution.

    Lonesome Thanks this.

Our company just switched to Love’s nationwide and Kwik Trip in WI and MN. The cards are open for Canada and Alaska, otherwise it’s only 50 gal emergency fuel after getting permission.

Not that big a deal as 90 percent of us use Love’s anyway...

Just got a msg from Walmart dedicated saying our referral bonus has been changed. We now will get $500 when the driver clears orientation and .03 cents for all miles the new driver drives on their first year. So if they run 100k miles their first year that's $3000. Get enough people rolling in and you can switch to a part time dedicated driver :p

    Lonesome and dwells40 Thank this.
