Western Flyer Express, are they a decent company to work for?

Talking to them about going to work. Been on the road 41 years, I just quit my job with Decker truck line after 8 months because of the Bendix smart drive system. Couldn't take the constant beeping 11 hours a day every time someone gets in front of you. The worst part was the system will slam on the brakes when it thinks you may have a collision. It's a flawed system and it almost caused me to Jack knife in Denver on the snowy roads. There was no one in front of me or anywhere around me. After reviewing my dash cam video, I'm certain it picked up the overpass I was coming up to. I was in a 2020 Pete and making .56 cents a mile so I hated to quit, but I couldn't take that system anymore. Also they have the inward looking camera which I hated. I know how to do my job and I don't need a babysitter.

 

I'm seeing positive an negative posts about them, the only way to find out for sure is give it a try. If I don't like them, I walk away.

 

Trucks are too slow..
