Maybe one leased to a company but a true owner operator I doubt it. The bonds to do so are over a million bucks.
-
Yeah, someone leased to a carrier is what I would expect. I see quite a few at the rack I pull out of, but nearly all of them run for the same company. I'm hoping to find others.

Don't tell me KAG
-
No... a local outfit. I don't want to throw out any names or location. The guys I do talk to there, don't seem to want a lot of help...if you know what I mean? Lol. I will honor that.

Can't blame um, if they have a good gig it's tuff out here.

Smallest guy around my area with his own #s has like 5 trucks..... All he does is cut rates trying to stay busy.
If you want to buy a truck you gotta go the "lease to a carrier" route.
I do a little of it in the winter (fuel oil) with someone else's #s and it ain't what it used to be.pathfinder1361 Thanks this. -
Oh KAG. I know a guy that left us to buy a truck and pull for them... Doesn't seem worth it
Cali kid Thanks this. -
Pulling fuel tanks rocks best job ever. Same pay empty or full. O/O make 2.50 per mile. Plus drops I average 16,000 km per month.
