That was a pretty light load... Seems like he should have been able to skate around that curve easily. I wonder if there’s more to the story here.

I was wondering that too. Maybe load shift and going too fast?

It may have been light but the trailer may have been loaded top heavy. That stretch of 94/43 is 50 mph from before the 894 junction at least down south to the Rawson Ave interchange. Those curves are deceptive.

Milwaukee County Sheriffs Department is always patrolling that stretch of highway looking for speeders, betcha they’ll focus their attention on trucks flying around those curves now!

I know that curve well, that was sort of my stomping grounds before I moved to Iowa (and good riddance to that by the way). I was usually pretty heavy going through there so I never messed around. But that curve is lit up with flashing lights, warning signs, etc. I’m just surprised that such a light truck, and a local one too, would have messed up this badly.

Yeah,a light truck but chances are the truck was dialed up(70 mph, maybe more) and/or the driver thought they wouldn’t expect to lay it over on the curve. Almost every time I’m doing Walmart dedicated loads in that area(Milwaukee,South Milwaukee, Franklin) I see daycab drivers fly through the area, especially that S curve.
