Request motel, then find an expensive one...they get really anxious to get it fixed faster that way.

The load that I was assigned after dropping in York/Manchester PA area was suppose to be a drop/hook, ready Weds, but because of the extra time it took to get my Peoplenet fixed the other day, that all payed forward on the next couple days of my logbook so I wouldn't have time to get in, drop/hook and get to a truck stop for the night... especially since I had to have the trailer washed out. So I told Ops I could pick it up the next morning. They reluctantly said o.k. but said to get there 1st thing in the morning. It picks up at the port in Gloucester City, NJ. I get there, check in, or attempt to check in with the port office, but they said I have to get the CSR to contact the customer and get them to change the date on the appointment before I was allowed to check in. Many hours later, they finally got around to it. Then I got to check in, then it magically became a live load, not preloaded. 7 hours later, I was finally pulling out of the port, which means I will now not make delivery in OH on time...and once I get empty in OH, I go to the Columbus shop and see if they can fix this POS's comfort mode problem before going home...I fantasize about pushing this truck off a very high cliff and wait to hear the satisfying sound of it crashing into a million flattened pieces at the bottom.

I drove past your favorite shop today. They had 3 gently used blue tractors and 10-12 red ones. It will be like shopping for a new used car. You should get routed through there before going home. Those deals don’t last forever!!!!

Probably a good thing they stopped. I somehow doubt that sign says "Weight Limit 40 tons."

Probably 5 tons from what I can see of the bridge.
