I find if you keep changing the driving position thete is less pain. Also keep your head moving. It's good not just to know what's around you in traffic, but so your neck doesn't get stiff. I formerly thought it important to get the optimal driving position and leave it.
In offices they hsve fancy standing desks that vary the height, etc every 30-60 minutes. Thats the idea I try to follow. Man is made to move, not rot in place.
How to avoid neck/back pain when driving 11 hours hours a day

After kicking tires every morning I throw my leg up on the battery box and stretch, of course my heated legacy also helps
don’t sit on your wallet and make sure your knees are bent about even with your ###, don’t put the seat up to the ceilingfaux_maestro Thanks this. -
I think your first step is don't work for a slave driver like Amazon.

Just make sure you’re not slouching because you’ll be adding pressure onto your lower back, hips, and your calf. If you’re straining that doesn’t even seem that you’ll be comfortable and you’ll tried to keep adjusting to find a comfortable spot every minute or second.

I hear what your saying and I have found A good quality seat I like bostrom with the memory foam and gel cushions.
I ride with seat on floor and low base. so my seat is only 8 inches off floor. Keeps my legs pretty much straight. I found by not having air in my seat I don’t bounce and at end of day I am not as sore.
I also stop every 2 to 3 hours and walk and stretch as much as I can. I run my own company and do as I please. But take care of yourself do not let that eld rush you. If those days are too much tell Amazon to shove it. Not worth the money to continually abuse your back. Just my 2 centsfaux_maestro, slow.rider and John E. Thank this. -
I do a few things.
- Sit up straight
- I dig my heels in to the floor right in front of the seat when my back/butt gets tired and lift myself up with the seat, about 10 times usually gets a little blood flowing. The air seat assists you doing this.
- Get out and walk around a bit every couple hours. Stretch, look goofy like the old man you are becoming. Who cares. I do calf raises on my side steps, walk around the truck a few times if there's no place else, do some pull ups in the truck on the pull up bar I added between the top cabinets, etc.
- Don't' take this wrong, but figure out how to make a living considering your well being and not Amazon's. (see post 23 above)faux_maestro, Lowlite and slow.rider Thank this. -
