Multi-wick candle and lighter in case you get stranded in the cold. Also get the thickest, heaviest blanket you can find and spread it out under your mattress. Heat can leave your body from underneath just as easily as from above.

Well you are falling for this, great ... so bring clothes for a week, money and a good attitude. You don’t need anything else yet.

    -Portable refrigerator
If you're OTR and new, you most likely will get a used truck with a garbage refrigerator. My food spoiled once while inside it.. Get a portable refrigerator. I bought an Aplicool and it works fantastic. My low battery warning never came on despite it being plugged in 24/7 so it uses very little power. Of course, if you plan on eating at truck stops every single day then it's not necessary..

    -Portable battery
This thing is a life saver. Need to charge your phone or use a laptop but don't want to idle the truck? This comes in handy.

    -Piss bottle
This gets alot of hate but trust me, this is the best purchase you can make. Get good ones that seal tight.

Some people say 3 liter water bottle sold in most truck stops. Tapered top is better than flat top. Plus restaurant paper bags for maximum discretion.

I have an Alpicool. I've let my truck sit for a week and a half on a couple occasions, and it still fires up like I shut it off five minutes ago.

Right, keep it light because you'll be with a trainer and won't have room for more than a duffle bag.
