Sorry you assumed that it was per month. These numbers are weekly. 1800 miles, multiply that by 1.59 (.96 cents is the cost per mile if you read it correctly) would give you $2862 per week x 4 = $11,448/ month. That’s at 4 days per week, 11 months out of the year. Definitely worth it.
I seen some companies paying 88% to the owner operators

First you said 88%
Your gross totals for 52 weeks 238680
Your percentage @ 88% is 210038
Company made 28642 or on your own your extra money
Insurance cost 16500(your number) vs no cost leased leaves 12142
12142/12 months is 1011/month extra
So for 1011/month more you cover all additional costs.
And that is running 52 weeks a year. Every week off makes that lower.
Put in new batteries or quit using common core/trucker math. LOLmwhjr1988 Thanks this. -
100 x .88 =12%, not 22%

You missed this "Lease on using these numbers is approximately .80 cents per mile due to the lower insurance rate." Could you not figure out what the lower insurance rate is when leasing on and that .80 cents is cost per mile??
You also missed this "Deduct the 22% from the line haul and that is .561 cents per mile. Add that to your CPM (cost per mile) and you wind up with 1.361 per mile leased on compared to .96 cents per mile under your own authority."
Then you missed this "2.55 - .96 cents per mile = 1.59 net per mile own Authority"
Then you missed this "2.55 - 1.361 = 1.189 net per mile leased on to a company"
So what is 100% - 22%. That's right, you guessed it 77% of the line haul
You also missed this important part "Even at 12% of the line haul deducted (88%) you're looking at .306 cents per mile leaving you at a cost of 1.106 per mile all said and done" What is 100% minus 12%, you guessed it, 88%.
You have horrible reading comprehension skills, make stupid assumptions of 1800 miles per month and then claim others are using common core/trucker math.
Everyone else got it but you.
This might help you:

Keep using your trucker math, that way the numbers will always come out the way you want.
So what is 100% - 22%. That's right, you guessed it 77% of the line haul Great example of your trucker math. LOL
But seriously, use what ever math makes you feel good. -

I run for the same company that slow.rider runs for. I am happy. Many factors.
Another factor; I fueled up in New Mexico last week. Pump price was $3.25 a gallon. Company discount was .98 a gallon. That tickles my nethers.
I’m happy. Just find a place that make you happy money.slow.rider Thanks this. -
Vampire and God prefers Diesels Thank this.
