Rocks and Need4Speed Thank this. -
Someone said "I hope you like driving at night." Do they have you driving nights a lot? I imagine you're often waiting for trailers to cross the border which could be any time of night.

When I worked there 5 years ago most of there yards are in border towns like you would drop n hook in there yard i never felt rushed there. like i do in reefer! now. I drove mainly when ever i felt like it. started driving at 4am/5am
Rocks, Need4Speed, Speed_Drums and 1 other person Thank this. -

Those are great miles if you get those runs consistently and aren't rushed every single day/every single load.
Good to see all these companies upping their pay for drivers. Really good to see. -
- Hometime is 1 1/2 days for each 7 out. Example: 8 weeks out equals 12 day off. You keep your truck. No "empty the truck if you take more than 4-5 days BS".
- APU's and inverters. No refrigerator.
- Mainly Pilot, FJ sometimes Loves. Scheduled fuel stops.
- Lanes are great. No northeast, no northwest, no Florida. Mainly 10, 20, 30, 40, 44 east to west. Up into the mid west. Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Ohio etc.
- Kenworth T 680's. Replaced at around 600K.
- Those runs are consistent, not rushed. Trips are planned with ample time.
- 3200-3400 mile weeks are not unusual.
