Fertilizer is kicking off up in E Grand Forks Mn , nice hotel 1 man per room shops a mile or so from hotel , free hot breakfast , 24$ to start pays 11/2 after 40 , plenty of OT , rain days your off.

I can say from experience, that the speed of your truck makes very little difference in what you make especially those in fast trucks because it certainly appears that those drivers hit every truckstop throughout the day and pass me multiple times...

The trucks may pass you but maybe that stop was a 30 or fuel or ?

But you’re right, fast doesn’t always mean $$
I will run fast if say I load on the west coast and can make delivery out east before Friday afternoon and get reloaded for the weekend

 

The trucks i am mainly talking about are the ones who pass me 3-4x’s or more a day on the same stretch of highway...they can’t seem to keep the left door closed for the most part.

I watched a semi truck pass me and several other vehicles for maybe 40 miles
on a 2 lane road
Almost hit several times

We both got on the freeway on ramp at the same time and I passed no one

Only time I will step it up is for the above scenario
Other than that you need to really haul xxx to make up 15 minutes and not get a ticket
