I may have dropped more than a couple in parking spaces just to go over and get fuel. Some of those pumps are pretty wide and some aren't. When you get north of 15' why even chance it over a few minutes of work?

@skallagrime I've felt that pain too pulling 100 ft stackers into MA.

Bash Swift (the company) all you want, but it is usually just a bad driver at fault.

Some aren't safe when their going forward..especially poles or bridges...

Far as picking on Swift goes...stop getting caught on camera/tape! ;)

    That said...roll the footage!

Heard a Prime backup alarm that talked a few years ago. "Caution, this vehicle is backing up"...too bad they don't make a programmable one "ready or not, here I come". I see a whole new income stream for comedians like Larry the cable guy and Jeff Foxworthy... custom celebrity voice backup alarms, brought to you by Comedy Central.

Talked to one of the drivers for Hunt that hauls the oversize farm equipment on RGN's (the flatbed for Crete, not J.B). He said he got into an argument with a driver at a fuel island who pulled up behind him and refused to move so he could back out with a combine that was too wide to fit going forward. He ended up just sitting there until the guy got pissed and finally moved over to an open bay.

Was in a Pilot years ago fueling up when an oversized boat hauler drove thru a fuel island...and when I say drove thru it, I mean the boat moved the top of the fuel pumps like a wave, and it also clipped one of the big square poles holding the canopy, then just kept going. Thankfully the pole was tougher than the boat and the canopy didn't come down on us all. I bet his boss, their customer and their insurance weren't too happy when he got where he was going.
