Losing argument. A mask won't slow down a truck with no brakes.

When your truck and trailer looks like a piece of crap, you might want to get ready for a inspection.

    slow.rider Thanks this.

I don't think that there is an easy answer. Especially this year. So many states switch things up year after year it is hard to predict what/where/when they are going to be doing a lot of inspections.
An example, Arkansas used to always set up a big inspection party on EB I 30 in the truck inspection area at around the 113 mile marker. But construction there has filled up that place with crap so that's out this year.

I think the answer is to just run legal and keep your truck and trailer up to standards?

How can anyone know ahead of time the answer to OP's question. We'll know after it's done.
Some states focus a portable roadsides and pullouts or parking lots to inspect.
Not many can pull all trucks in to inspect.
I just run like it's another week.

bzinger, slow.rider and jason6541 Thank this.

NY already seems to have been going hard. Ran down 684 and Southern Tier seperate times last week, both had Truck inspections open on both sides with more than a few OOS tagged trucks.
