in the mid 90s I flew to Indiana, bought a truck, managed to wrangle it out of the parking lot and onto the interstate and pulled into the first truck stop I saw.

walked into the Restaraunt and loudly announced that I was a newbie that had just bought an truck would be happy to buy a nice steak dinner for some experienced driver who would give me any info .

 

I ran through Buffalo yesterday on my way home and the sleeper truck was gone so maybe he’s out getting after it.
