My wife has it so I don't need it but at one point she almost lost it and I called Medishare. I like the sound of it and the prices were less than what I had expected and less than what I had heard my friends were paying.

I did OK on the Obamacare exchange. And my monthly premiums fell by 80% last month, good thru the end of the year. But I hear the outlook is different in different states.

Did you just sign up for Obamacare last month?
As far as I know the Obamacare premium is income based.
Did your premiums fall so drastically because your income is way down?

Yeah but now that I think about it, something happened to make me suspect that they hadn't entered my income correctly when I enrolled last fall. There was a newsletter sent out last month saying everyone can resubmit their application for a new lower rate from covid, and when I resubmitted, I might have fixed the error too. So it's possible I was paying too much to begin with. I dont remember the exact details. I've never been big on paperwork.

Ouch,,,i recall having to pay it,,was $600 annually,,fortunately Health Canada eliminated us having to pay and found a better solution.
Most tax collected from medical and recreational cannabis production goes to healthcare.
