I did something like that when we lived in China. Of course, not at that cost.
We hired two full-time, live-in nannies.
Went to a nanny service and said we want two full-time live in nannies. Will provide healthcare, dental, wardrobe will be kept updated with whatever they want. I'll buy any food they prefer and they also cook all meals.
They will vacation with us, within China.
The lady at the nanny service said, "Wow, that's generous. What's the pay?"
I said, I want them to tell me how much they want; not me tell them what I'm willing to pay.
The first two that we interviewed, passed with flying colors. We asked about the pay they expected and they both said, "$145.00 per month."
So the total for salaries was $290.00 per month.
They stayed 5 years and happy as they could be.
Today, they want $450.00 per month for each one. That's still a good deal for me.

In the Philippines those workers are easily under 100 dollars a month. To them that seems like a lot of money. College graduates in the Philippines might make 150-500 dollars a month.

Now in the US we think 100k is a lot of money but something like this happening makes you wonder if we just don't realize that we live in a 3rd world country yet.
