Getting a home loan? Bank wont accept my paycheck, company driver

You need a different Realtor. Any agent worth their salt has a couple of lenders that they work with exclusively. A realtor that sens you to Quicken or Rocket Mortgage has no clue.

 

In my case it was a lender I had never heard of and wouldn't have found on my own. The name of the bank was so screwy I had doubts about them even being legit.

Got the mortgage though and within a couple months they sold my loan to another much larger bank that I knew very well. I suspect that they only ever intended to make money off the loan origination fees etc and aren't large/liquid enough to hold the mortgage for the full term.

 

Why do I need a different realtor?

I've already bought.

 

I went through the preferred lender on my house. Free sod and sprinklers. Doing it that way. And yep. Once the papers was signed. It was immediately handed over to someone else.

Now I'm looking to refi. Was going to use my CU. But apparently they do the same thing.

 

now that i think about it.. i had 2 cu approvals before the starting the process. It was never discussed.
