They definitely got diesel shops closer than that.

I was taking a week off for my birthday anyway, so we're just going to do it early. Have a laundry list of stuff I want to fix. I'm not letting a shop touch my truck. I'll fix all this myself.

After I parked, I was doing my nightly "poke around and look at stuff" and my front pinion seal is leaking. Literally just started in the last couple hundred miles. At the last stop I checked my drive line U-joint strap bolts, and it was dry. (they were loose once and now I'm paranoid about it, so I always check them) So add that to the list. I was going to change the gear oil in that diff anyway, and where the diff seals to the housing has a slow leak. So I guess I'm pulling the diff. I wanted to pull my fifth wheel anyway to clean and inspect it, so I guess I'm about to have a busy week!

Anyways here's what I pulled yesterday. No cell network, so I couldn't post pictures. They wouldn't load.

@kylefitzy You ever run across 81/64 or Norfolk area with a pole car? I asked for routing but, just wondering what the route is like...load is 13'6 on the ground so I permitted for 14'9 high... a few inches on the high side...(I pull mini deck)

Not that you asked me...but if you’re going into Norfolk I think you’re good at that height. I imagine they’d want you to take 295 around Richmond and then put you on route 460 into Norfolk to avoid the Hampton tunnel and the Monitor Merrimac tunnel. Just my 2cents. Not sure if it helps or not.
