That’s awesome, and notice he’s so well dressed! No flip flops for that guy.

That isn't much of a comparison. 88 year olds don't even wear flip flops to the beach.

wasted all of his life behind the wheel. Probably will die at some truck stop/rest area. Trucking is waste of life.I've only been doing it 7 years but I wish I could do something else as there's no respect for truckers anymore. Shippers/receivers /DOT yell and humiliate you while you have to follow most idiotic hos rules that some ####### came up with.
Not to mention that you're missing out on anniversaries/birthdays /family life with loved ones.

Well find another line of work.....quit your whining. Who exactly is forcing you to drive a truck for a living?? Sheesh. I happen to love my job. I have never had a Shipper, receiver, Dot, Dispatcher, or anyone else "yell at or humiliate me". You may want to take a long look in the mirror......you may find the problem staring back at you.:biggrin_25510::pain10:

Everything else you said is ... well not important but that said ... what worries me is him dying while driving. Already know of a 76 year old who died while driving a loaded truck and killed a couple people back in 1990.

    bentstrider83 Thanks this.

Perhaps it's time to implement career exploration and development from a young age. Get people on the right path early on. One can only burn through several careers in life before they get old and all that indecisiveness bites them in the rear.

For now, stick with it and find what's tolerable.
