Hi guys,

Got a ticket for being over the registered gross weight of the truck, its a quad axle trailer. Wasn't able to get the overweight permit on time. It was almost 9990 K over the the registered weight. What option do I have now? to ask for a trial at the court and reduce the charges via a paralegal?

What is your registered gross? How much was the fine? What is the penalty if you don't pay?

Registered gross weight is 40000 kg and the fine is $900 for being over weight. It has to be paid when we go and renew the plate at the service centre, a late payment fee will be added too.

 

So you were 49 990kg on a 40 000kg tag, and the fine is only $900? holy #### dude pay that #### and run lol. The guy did you a favor, I've seen 15K fines for less overweight.
