that's a Canadian spread. its used in Canada for their weight laws, that's all I know.

Funny thing is OP and I are both Canadian (at least I think OP is) and I still have yet to see a "Canadian Spread" in Canada lol.

I don’t know exactly what it gives you in Canada, but down here in the States it can increase your inner bridge if you’re running where it matters.

A 6 foot spread on the axles is sometimes known as a “Canadian Spread” It is to increase the axle group rating. Supposed to allow 35k across the drives.
Don’t think it’s recognized in the US. Generally you would see this on some HH trucks. Canada has different bridge and kpra rules/laws.Bean Jr. and Brettj3876 Thank this. -
