Kinda strange since we can legally gross nearly 37,500 lbs on a "normal" tandem in Western Canada.

Looks like tire wear would be exacerbated on tight turns.

If you buy it move the front axle back to where it normally should be and move the fifth wheel back and enjoy your wheelbase.

I pull super-b at 140K and have never seen this within our fleet or any of the 6 other companies hauling next to us (competition) that easily over 600 trucks in total. Look like some kind of roll off truck that someone stuck a hitch one to me.

If you need a day cab why would you get one with such extra length?

the whole point of a day cab is short and maneuverability.

Rides better. And the point of a daycab is not having a bunk.

Front overhang is another benefit, as is the ability to mount equipment like pumps and hydraulic reservoirs behind the cab instead of on the side of the frame.

lester and Dino soar Thank this.
