I don't mind sliding tandems back before I enter, but I will slide them forward if I need to before I go out.
I will not leave a place unless I am reasonably sure I can scale correctly.
Also, there may be no safe place to slide them after I leave.
If they have a problem with that they can always ban me from coming back in, and good riddance to them.
Useless people make these rules, and the only way to fight back is to do the right thing.

Not sliding tandems before you begin to leave the customer is a dangerous thing for all concerned.
Sure, sometimes the load requires it.
And usually it is because the shipper loaded it badly.
I know at the Lowe's in Cheyenne they love to load tail heavy, unless you are going to CA.
It is only because they can, and are being jerks about it. There is no reason to load differently depending on the destination, in my opinion. -
